The Series of Events "Industry Round Table SENERGY "

The Industry Round Table 'Services for Renewable Energies' (SENERGY) was founded in 2009. The members are innovative companies of the wind energy sector which have a special interest in improving their service solutions.

The objectives of the SENERGY Round Table are as follows:

• Information exchange and discussion about service challenges in the wind energy sector
• Discussion of 'Best Practice' service concepts and methods within the wind industry and other industries
• Development and standardization of methods for a better utilization of the service opportunities and for the improvement of the service efficiency

Therefore the SENERGY Round Table serves as an open platform for information exchange between the participants. The Round Table meets regularly. The meetings are held in a workshop format to allow a maximum of discussion. Each workshop deals with a special topic.

Study Groups and Workshops of the FIR or with Participation of the FIR

Each meeting of the well-tried study groups of the FIR gives the participants the chance to discuss and communicate with like-minded persons. In many cases speakers out of research or industry create the necessary basis thereto.

The sessions usually take place several times a year at enterprises of the participants. Hence there is the opportunity to get to know parts of enterprises at the scene by guided tours of them and get impressions with practical orientation.

The subject of each event is determined by the members of the study group. So an actual relation to their interests and practice is given. In addition we sometimes offer special study groups with only one meeting when there is the demand out of our research projects or our industrial work.
