Working Groups/Roundtables

Platforms for the Exchange of Experience on Current Topics

The FIR working group format has proven to be highly valuable, providing participants with the opportunity to communicate and exchange ideas with peers on a regular basis. Often, speakers from research and industry provide a stimulating basis for discussion.

As a rule, working group meetings take place several times a year; typically, the participating companies take turns hosting them. Working group members benefit from visits on site, where they take factory tours and get to know the different organizational units and overall business of the host company.

For each meeting, a topic is agreed on by the working group members, ensuring the topicality and practical relevance of the issues under discussion. In addition, we occasionally offer one-off working group meetings with topics arising from a current research or industry project.
