The Center Enterprise Resource Planning is now the Center Integrated Business Applications – what is the reason for renaming the Center and what are its priorities in terms of content and strategic development? This is what we asked Katharina Berwing, who has been Head of the Center Integrated Business Applications since December 2020. W hat do you want to achieve by renaming the center? What strategic direction are you going to take? In 2020, the Center Enterprise Resource Planningwas renamed Center Integrated Business Applications (CIBA) to better reflect the focus of our activities. While the previous name implied a focus on ERP systems, the new name is intended to express that our services encompass the design and integration of all future-oriented business software. We want to drive the ongoing development of communities for users, providers and start-ups in the Smart Logistics cluster. Situated at the interfaces between providers, consultants, and users of business software, the Center Integrated Business Applications pools resources and competencies for the further development of products, services and business models with the aim of achieving a highly integrated IT system landscape within companies. Im Jahr 2020 wurde das ‚ Center Enterprise Resource Planning ‘ in ‚ Center Integrated Business Application s‘ (CIBA) umbenannt, um die inhaltliche Ausrichtung der Aktivitäten besser abzubil- den. Implizierte der frühere Name noch die Fokussierung von ERP-Systemen, wollen wir mit dem neuen Namen ausdrücken, dass unsere Leistungen die Gestaltung sämtlicher zukunfts- orientierter Business-Software und deren Integration umfasst. Wir möchten den kontinuierlichen Aufbau von Communitys für Anwender, Anbieter und Start-ups im Cluster Smart Logistik vorantreiben. An den Schnittstellen von Anbietern, Beratern und Anwendern von Business-Software bündelt das Center Integrated Business Applications Ressourcen und Kompetenzen zur Weiterentwicklung von Produkten, Dienstleistungen und Geschäftsmodellen für die integrierte Vernetzung der IT- Vom Center Enterprise Resource Planning zum Center Integrated Business Applications – was verbirgt sich hinter der Um- benennung des Centers und wie sieht die inhaltli- che und strategische Weiterentwicklung aus?
