ThingWorx vergleicht die Position eines Transmitters mit den definierten Zonen und identifiziert so in Echtzeit, ob ein Transmitter eine Zone verlassen oder betreten hat. Dadurch werden Eventlogs der Transmitterbewegung in der DFA generiert. Diese Eventlogs werden anschließend über eine REST-Schnittstelle in einer PostgreSQL-Datenbank gespeichert. Um den Eventlogs mehr Kontext zu geben, wurde ein Google-Formular aufgesetzt, in dem Tourguides ihre Touren registrieren und mit weiteren Informationen versehen können: z. B. Tourart, Auftraggeber oder Anzahl der Gäste. Prozessoptimierung in das digitale Zeitalter überführen Beim Einsatz in der DFA greift die Software IQ|A von ONIQ sowohl auf die Eventlogs in der Datenbank als auch auf die Metadaten der Touren, wie z. B. Anzahl der Teilnehmer je Tour, zu und verarbeitet diese zum digitalen Wertstrom (s. Bild 4). > Transferring Process Optimization into the Digital Age When used in the DFA, ONIQ's IQ|A software accesses both the event logs in the database and the metadata of the tours, such as the number of participants per tour, and processes them into a digital value stream (see Figure 4). The software not only evaluates individual tours, but also looks for hidden conspicuities or correlations that often only become apparent in the overall view when many different tours are analyzed over time. In intuitive dashboards and graphs, these correlations are visualized at the push of a button. In the DFA, visitors can see immediately how well their tour performed, e.g. in terms of throughput time (tour duration), process reliability (deviation from the planned standard tour), or transition times (movement between stations). In real-world applications, material flows are tracked and visualized in this way. These analyses support various areas of a production company, e.g. decision makers from production management, process optimizers from lean management and operational excellence, as well as quality management, controlling, and ESG departments. > PARTNERS
