Der Branchenindikator dient so der Evaluation der aktuellen Lage in verschiedenen Instandhaltungsabteilungen. Darüber hinaus enthält jede Ausgabe des „Branchenindikators Instandhaltung“ zu einem Sonderthema ein Expert:inneninterview. So wurde beispielsweise in der letzten Ausgabe die Firma in.hub zum Thema Retrofitting befragt. Retrofitting bezeichnet allgemein das Nachrüsten von Maschinen, um diese für wechselnde Zwecke nutzen zu können. Ein Beispiel hierfür ist eine nachträgliche Datenerfassung über Sensorik. Das Thema ist ebenfalls in verschiedenen Fragen des Indikators abgebildet, um so den Status quo dazu in der Industrie zu erfragen. Mit einer Stichprobe von ca. 40 Unter‑ nehmen aus verschiedenen Bereichen der Instandhaltung ergibt sich so ein Bild über den Stellenwert und die Praxis des jeweiligen Themas. Exemplarisch ist an dieser Stelle das Ergebnis zu den Fragen nach Struktur und Verwendung von Retrofitting in Bild 2 dargestellt. Die Zahlen lassen erkennen, dass in den Betrieben Retrofitting als Thema eine zunehmend wichtige Rolle spielt und die Daten für verschiedene Applikationen genutzt werden. Im Vergleich dessen mit dem Industriestandard ergeben sich noch unerschöpfte Potenziale. In diesem Beispiel erschließt sich Potenzial durch die Evaluierung des Nutzens der Daten für Smarte Technologien wie Predictive Maintenance. In Smart-Maintenance-Assessments wird verstärkt auf den Datennutzen für das Erreichen einer Reifegradstufe geachtet. Gerade bei diesen Assessments werden die Handlungsoptionen für eine Transformation zur Industrie 4.0 in der Instandhaltung aufgezeigt. Darüber hinaus konnten die Ergebnisse in die Entwicklung der Datenpotenzialanalyse aufgenommen werden. Bei dieser wird der Nutzen der vorhandenen Daten für beispielsweise eine Predictive-Maintenance-Unterstützung evaluiert. Mit den Ergebnissen können wir als Fachgruppe Smart Maintenance auf Praxispartner:innen zugehen und Lösungen entwickeln. Auch das Thema Nachhaltigkeit spielte in der Vergangenheit eine wichtige Rolle im „Branchenindikator Instandhaltung“. The industry report thus serves to evaluate the current situation in various maintenance departments. Moreover, each issue of the Maintenance Industry Report contains an expert interview on a specific topic. In the last issue, for example, the company in.hub was interviewed on the subject of retrofitting. Retrofitting generally means that machines are equipped with a component or accessory so that they can be used for additional purposes. One example of this is retrofitting data acquisition capabilities with the help of sensor technology. This topic is also addressed by various questions of the report in order to determine the status quo in the industry. With a sample of about 40 companies from different areas of maintenance, a picture of the significance and practical application of the respective topic is obtained. As an example, the results of the questions on the structure and use of retrofitting are shown in Figure 2. The figures indicate that retrofitting is playing an increasingly important role in the plants and that the data is being used for various applications. Comparing this with the industry standard, it becomes clear that there is still untapped potential. In this example, potential can be unlocked by evaluating the utility of the data for smart technologies such as predictive maintenance. In smart maintenance assessments, more attention is paid to the question whether data can be leveraged to reach a higher maturity level. Importantly, these assessments highlight the available options for action for a transformation to Industrie 4.0 in maintenance. In addition, the results were used in the development of the data potential analysis. This involves evaluating the usefulness of existing data for predictive maintenance support, for example. With our results, we at the Smart Maintenance Group can approach partners from practice and develop solutions. In the past, the topic of sustainability has also played an important role in the Maintenance Industry Report. These results, combined with quantitative statements, flowed into
