UdZ / Issue 01.23

Bei der Berücksichtigung werden unterschiedliche Aspekte einbezogen, darunter Materialzusammensetzungen Figure 1: DiCES target picture – Data-based integrated value chain system for a multidimensional circular economy (own illustration) Data-based integrated value chain systems: Integration of the elements of a multi-dimensional circular economy through data-based networking of the production and life cycle-encompassing IT systems to create sustainable added value for the customer. To realize such a value chain system, several elements are required, as shown in Figure 1 and further explained below. 1. Sustainable product configuration Products are to be designed in such a way that they optimally fit into the circular economy, i. e. have the highest possible reusability, interchangeability, and recyclability. Different aspects are taken into account, including material composition – for example, the use of environmentally friendly materials and product features that are well suited for a circular economy, such as a modular product structure or design for disassembly. 2. Data-based decision model and ReX prediction An important building block is the decision model. The decision model is designed to help select the optimal ReX strategy, based on data from a product twin and the Physical model Development cycle User cycle Digital model Production cycle Re-manufacture Re-use Re-pair Re-furbish PPS Multicircular order processing Data-based decision model for multidimensional circular economy Scalable hybrid production Re-X prediction Service-sustainability business model Sustainable product configuration
