According to Volker Stich, a mixture of robust monolith and modular agility is the best way to successfully counter potential risks. This was also confirmed by Karsten Sontow, CEO of Trovarit AG , in his presentation “Operational software landscapes - status quo and perspectives”. ERP still plays a connecting role today. The day concluded with a panel discussion. Representatives from associations, companies and system integration discussed their perspectives on the change of operational software solutions in a quite controversial way.
