With just under 100 employees, Novazoon is significantly smaller than the previous companies, but it designs and supports leading industrial and service companies in the development and market launch of new business models – and thus implements huge transformation projects. In contrast to the previous speakers, who tended to focus on standardization, Deck pointed out that “one fits all” could mean that actual customer needs fall by the wayside. He linked back to the opening presentation by confirming that focusing on efficiency and productivity alone will not secure the future of companies and called for a culture of innovation with an environment characterized by openness, a certain willingness to take risks, as well as agility and creativity. What the participants learned? From both perspectives – business and IT - work is not perfectly together or even past each other in many places. It almost reads like a truism that it would be better for the individual, the project team and ultimately the company’s success to work well together and take measures to promote this. Was die Teilnehmenden gelernt haben? Aus beiden Perspektiven – Business und IT – wird an vielen Stellen nicht perfekt zusammen- oder sogar aneinander vorbei gearbeitet. Dass es für den einzelnen Menschen, das Projektteam und schließlich den Unternehmenserfolg besser wäre, gut zusammenzuarbeiten und dafür fördernde Maßnahmen zu ergreifen, liest sich fast schon wie eine Binsenweisheit.
