UdZ 03.21 / 57 Based on the Industrie 4.0 Maturity Index developed by FIR in 2017 under the auspices of acatech (see p. 34), the existing maintenance check (IH-Check) at FIR was further developed and specifically supplemented. The result is a three-phase procedure for designing a holistic, forward-looking concept for the maintenance organization. This assessment process first identifies starting points within the organization and then builds on these to maximize the value contribution of maintenance with the help of methodical and technological measures. An exciting insight into the system and the project process is provided below using a project at Drägerwerk AG & Co.
