As a result, processes are changing, making it necessary for companies to adapt their existing IT system landscape. In addition, the IT system landscape needs to be implemented in a precisely tailored and fully integrated manner in order to continue to master the increasing complexity. Both are difficult to implement today, as the implementation of monolithic systems is lacking in these respects.
