Liebe Leserinnen, liebe Leser, zu Beginn dieses Jahres haben wir beschlossen, den Veröffentlichungsrhythmus der UdZ zu verändern. Der Hauptgrund dafür ist, dass wir Ihnen über unser Publikations- portal, auch unabhängig vom Erscheinungstermin der UdZ, alle Artikel digital zugänglich machen können und werden. Damit möchten wir Ihnen die Möglichkeit geben, noch schneller auf interessante Inhalte zuzugreifen. Mehr zu den Möglichkeiten und alle benötigten Links finden Sie auf Seite 20. Die gewohnte digitale Komplett-Ausgabe, wie Sie sie gerade vor Augen haben, können Sie jeweils im Frühjahr und Herbst erwarten. Ereignisreich begann das Jahr: Unsere erste Großveranstaltung, das zum 27. Mal ausgerichtete Dienstleistungs- forum, liegt schon erfolgreich hinter uns – über 500 Personen hatten sich auch in diesem Jahr wieder angemeldet. In Kooperation mit dem Service Performance Center drehte sich am 13. März 2024 alles rund um das Thema „Subscription- Journey – Erfolgreich vom Produkt- zum digitalen Lösungs- anbieter“. Mehr zur Veranstaltung finden Sie ab Seite 24. Das Dienstleistungsforum bot den geeigneten Rahmen, um den Führungswechsel im Bereich Dienstleistungsmanagement bekanntzugeben: Regina Schrank übernahm am 1. April 2024 die Bereichsleitung von Dr. Lennardt Holst, dem wir für seine erfolgreiche und ambitionierte Arbeit danken und den wir in bewährter FIR-Tradition in die Industrie entlassen. Wir freuen uns auf eine spannende und erfolgreiche Zeit mit Regina Schrank im Lead. Nun steht schon alles in den Startlöchern für die zweite Großveranstaltung des FIR, die gemeinsam mit dem Center Integrated Business Applications und der Trovarit AG ausgerichtet wird: „Mit digitalisierten Prozessen und den richtigen Systemen die Zukunft der industriellen Auftragsabwicklung gestalten” – wie das geht, erfahren Sie am 19. Juni 2024 beim CBA Aachen – Congress of Business Applications auf dem RWTH Aachen Campus. Auch in der Landeshauptstadt gab es in diesem Jahr schon einen Grund zum Feiern: das 10-jährige Bestehen der Johannes-Rau-Forschungsgemeinschaft (JRF), deren stolzes Mitglied wir sind. Am 8. April kamen zu diesem Anlass in der Akademie der Wissenschaften und der Künste in Düsseldorf zu einer Festveranstaltung rund 300 Gäste zusammen, die ein vielfältiges Programm erwartete: Bei der Veranstaltung Dear Readers, At the beginning of this year, we decided to change the publication frequency of the UdZ. The main reason for this is that we can and will make all articles available to you digitally via our publication portal, regardless of the publication date of the UdZ. In this way, we would like to give you the opportunity to access interesting content even more quickly. You can find out more about the possibilities and all the necessary links on page 20. You can expect the usual complete digital edition, as you are currently seeing it, in spring and autumn. The year got off to an eventful start: our first major event, the Service Forum, which was organised for the 28th time, is already successfully behind us – over 500 people registered again this year. In cooperation with the Service Performance Centre, the event on 13th March 2024, everything revolved around the topic of ‘Subscription Journey – Successfully from product to digital solution provider’. You can find out more about the event from page 24. The Service Forum provided the perfect setting to announce the change of leadership in the Service Management division: Regina Schrank took over the management of the division from Dr. Lennardt Holst on 1st April 2024, whom we would like to thank for his successful and ambitious work and whom we are releasing into industry in the tried-andtested FIR tradition. We look forward to an exciting and successful time with Regina Schrank in the lead. Everything is already in the starting blocks for the second major event of the FIR, which is being organised jointly with the Center Integrated Business Applications and Trovarit AG: ‘Shaping the future of industrial order processing with digitalised processes and the right systems’ – you can find out how this works on 19th June 2024 at the CBA Aachen – Congress of Business Applications on the RWTH Aachen Campus. There was also a reason to celebrate in the state capital this year: the 10th anniversary of the Johannes-Rau- Forschungsgemeinschaft (JRF), of which we are a proud member. On 8th April, around 300 guests gathered at the Academy of Sciences, Humanities and the Arts in Düsseldorf for a festive event with a varied programme: the event featured speeches from politicians and the presentation of the JRF Dissertation Prize 2024.
