Juni war Premiere für den „Congress on Business Applications Aachen – Lösungen für Produktion und Logistik“ (CBA Aachen) des FIR an der RWTH Aachen . Mit einem erweiterten Blick auf das ganze Feld der Business-Applications löst die neue Fachveranstaltung die traditionsreichen Aachener ERP-Tage ab. Der Sprung auf das nächste Level kommt ge­ nau zum richtigen Zeitpunkt, wandelt sich doch im Zuge der digitalen Transformation auch die Systemstruktur in den Unternehmen. Unternehmen setzen zunehmend auf unter­ schiedliche Systeme, um den vielfältigen Anforderungen an die Auftragsabwicklung gerecht zu werden. Fragen des Zusammenspiels zwischen IT und Prozessen für eine wert­ schöpfende Ende-zu-Ende-Auftragsabwicklung sind damit aktuell wie nie. Mehr als 150 Teilnehmer verfolgten im Live-Stream Vorträge und Erfahrungsberichte, informierten sich über neue Technologien, nutzten den Chat zum Erfahrungsaustausch und diskutierten ihre Anliegen in Breakout-Sessions. Partner präsentierten ihre Leistungen und Lösungen, darunter auch die Exclusive-Partner der CBA Aachen 2021, die Abas Software GmbH und die Asseco Solution AG . Über den digitalen Wandel und dessen Auswirkungen sprach Volker Stich, Professor und Geschäftsführer des FIR , in seiner einleitenden Keynote-Speech und belegte damit noch einmal die mit dem neuen Veranstaltungskonzept der Congress on Business Applications Aachen FOLLOW-UP REPORT J une 23 rd marked the premiere of the “Congress on Business Applications Aachen – Solutions for Production and Logistics” (CBA Aachen) at FIR at RWTH Aachen University . With an expanded view of the entire field of business applications, the new trade event replaces the traditional Aachen ERP Days.
