Als Bereichsleiter kommt man der Selbständigkeit schon sehr nahe – man hat sehr viele Gestaltungsfreiräume und agiert für seinen Bereich quasi wie ein Geschäftsführer. In der Industrie hätte ich bei einem ähnlichen Werdegang nicht so schnell und vor allem nicht so viel Entscheidungsfreiheit, egal ob inhaltlich oder im täglichen Geschäft. Hinzu kommt die Zusammenarbeit mit einem jungen, extrem motivierten Team mitsamt den Erfahrungen, die ich mit dem Team als Führungskraft sammeln kann. UdZ: Welche Pläne hast Du nach Deiner Promotion? Stroh: Meine Dissertation möchte ich im Laufe dieses Jahres abgeben. Damit wird meine Zeit als Bereichsleiter aber nicht enden. Ich habe noch einige persönliche Ziele, die ich hier erreichen möchte. Unter anderem setzen wir im Bereich gerade neue Schwerpunkte, die ich langfristig mit dem Team realisieren möchte. Darüber hinaus könnte ich mir bei entsprechenden Entwicklungsmöglichkeiten durchaus vorstellen, meinen Traum der Selbständigkeit auch im Rahmen einer längerfristigen Verbindung mit dem FIR zu verwirklichen. UdZ: Welche Schwerpunkte setzt Du in Deinem Bereich? Stroh: Wir wollen das Thema Digital-ArchitectureManagement weiter vorantreiben und uns als Meinungsführer sowie Kompetenzträger etablieren. Die Industrie benötigt Methoden und Konzepte, um die Organisation ihrer immer komplexer werdenden digitalen Infrastruktur umzusetzen und zu steuern. Unsere Aufgabe sehe ich darin, diese Konzepte und Methoden zu erforschen und zu entwickeln und die Industrie damit effizient zu unterstützen. Wir beschäftigen uns in diesem Zusammenhang sowohl mit Fragen zur IT-Strategie als auch zur Infrastruktur. Dabei berücksichtigen wir top-aktuelle Trends – von der Infrastruktur über neue Technologien bis hin zu Prozessen. Wir glauben fest daran, dass die Strukturierung der digitalen Architektur von Unternehmen der Schlüssel zum Erfolg bzw. zum optimalen Geschäftsnutzen ist. Darauf werden wir uns aus organisatorischer, technischer und aus der Datenperspektive konzentrieren. Mit spezifischen Lösungen sprechen wir nicht nur produzierende Betriebe an, sondern auch die Energie-, die Health- und die Agrarbranche. very interested in entrepreneurial activities and would like to set up my own business at some point in the future.
