UdZ 02.22 / 51 UdZ: What learnings from your role would you like to share with us? Stroh: The first six months as a department head have shown me how versatile this job really is. In addition to applying my professional competencies, I am above all a communicator and an organizer and I seek to represent the professional and personal interests of my team. Above all, you have to be a people’s person in order to get ahead together with your team. FIR offers me the great opportunity to continually develop my department, my team, and, of course, myself. I am looking forward to the upcoming activities, to research and industry projects and, above all, to being able to supervise and drive the growth and development of the department and to experience how the results of our work contribute to the value creation of companies. UdZ:Welches Learning möchtest Du uns aus Deiner Position heraus mit auf denWeg geben? Stroh: Das erste halbe Jahr als Bereichsleiter hat mir gezeigt, wie vielseitig diese Aufgabe ist. Neben fachlicher Kompetenz bin ich vor allem Kommunikator und Organisator und versuche, die fachlichen, aber auch die menschlichen Interessen meiner Mitarbeiter:innen zu vertreten. Man muss vor allem ein Menschenfreund sein, um gemeinsam mit dem Team weiterzukommen. Das FIR bietet mir die große Chance, meinen Bereich, meine Mitarbeiter:innen und natürlich auch mich selbst kontinuierlich weiterzuentwickeln. Ich freue mich auf die kommenden Aktivitäten, auf Forschungs- und Industrieprojekte und vor allem darauf, das Wachstum und die Entwicklung des Bereichs begleiten und vorantreiben zu dürfen und zu erleben, wie die Ergebnisse unserer Arbeit zur Wertschöpfung von Unternehmen beitragen.
