Stephanie hat an der Maastricht University und der Universität zu Köln einen Research Master in European Studies abgeschlossen und berufsbegleitend am FIR eine 3-jährige Zertifizierung zur EU-Referentin absolviert. Sie nimmt stellvertretend für das FIR an den Arbeitsgruppentreffen der EARTO1 teil, ist Mitglied im STAIR Committee von CEN/ CENELEC2 und im KOWI-BAK-EU-Referent:innennetzwerk aktiv. Des Weiteren ist das FIR Mitglied in der EFFRA3 und hat auch schon gestaltend an der Entwicklung der Made-in-Europe-co- programmierten Partnerschaft mit der Europäischen Kommission teilgenommen. „Ich liebe die Interdisziplinarität der europäischen Forschungslandschaft und bin mit großer Euphorie an der Konzeptionierung von neuen Forschungsvorhaben beteiligt. Mein Ziel ist es, die bestmögliche Verbindung von Forschung und Innovation zum Wohle der Gesellschaft zu erreichen. Dabei versuche ich, immer neue kreative und unkonventionelle Wege zu gehen und freue mich über die große Begeisterung, die unsere Arbeit auslöst, und die guten Ergebnisse, die wir in den letzten Jahren erreichen konnten“, beschreibt Stephanie ihre Motivation. Die in der EU-Practice selbstverständlich praktizierte Kooperation der fünf Forschungsbereiche des FIR ist schon heute von Erfolg gekrönt: Gemeinsam konnte die EU-Practice dieses Jahr bis September 2022 bereits neun EU-Anträge einreichenund fünf davongewinnen (s. S. 72). Laufende Projekte mit EU-Förderung > INEDIT – open Innovation Ecosystems for Do It Together process Ziel des Forschungsprojekts ‚INEDIT‘ ist die Weiterentwicklung der europäischen industriellen Zusammenarbeit in der Möbelindustrie mithilfe der gleichnamigen Plattform. Zu ‚INEDIT‘ finden Sie in dieser Ausgabe einen eigenen Artikel, der über den Projektstand berichtet (s. The cooperation of the five research areas of the FIR, which is practiced as a matter of course in the EU-Practice, is already crowned with success: Together, the EU-Practice was already able to submit nine EU applications this year until September 2022 and win five of them (see p. 72).
