UdZ 03.22 / 73 > EDIH Rheinland – European Digital Innovation Hub Ziel des Forschungsprojekts ‚EDIH Rheinland‘ ist es, die grüne und digitale Transformation der Region zu unterstützen, indem insbesondere rheinischen KMU ab dem 01.01.2023 Zugang zu Wissen und Kompetenzen rund um die Themen Digital Skills, Künstliche Intelligenz (KI) und Hochleistungsrechner (High-performance computing, HPC) bereitgestellt wird. Das Konsortium besteht neben dem FIR aus zahlreichen Instituten der RWTH Aachen (AIA, CATS, i11, ICE, IME, ITC, WIN und WZL), der RWTH Innovation, der Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft (in Form der Institute FIT und IPT), dem digitalHUB Aachen, der Stadt Aachen und dem Regina e. V. Dabei übernimmt das WZL die Konsortialführung. Das Projekt startet zum 01.01.2023 und läuft bis zum 31.12.2026. The aim of the research project ‘EDIH Rheinland’ is to support the green and digital transformation of the region by providing in particular Rhineland SMEs with access to knowledge and competencies around digital skills, artificial intelligence (AI) and high-performance computing (HPC) from 01.01.2023. In addition to the FIR, the consortium consists of numerous institutes of RWTH Aachen University (AIA, CATS, i11, ICE, IME, ITC, WIN and WZL), RWTH Innovation, the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft (in the form of the institutes FIT and IPT), the digitalHUB Aachen, the City of Aachen and Regina e. V. WZL is the consortium leader. The project starts on 01.01.2023 and runs until 31.12.2026. > Invest4Health Ziel des Forschungsprojekts ‚Invest4Health‘ ist es, Anreize für neue Wege der Finanzierung der Gesundheitsförderung und Krankheitsprävention zu gestalten. Im Projekt ‚Invest4Health‘ werden Modelle, alternative Steuerungsmechanismen sowie Instrumente/Methoden, mit Entscheidungsträger:innen, Politiker:innen und Bürgerpanels, für den Einsatz von Smart-Capacitating-Investments für die Gesundheitsförderung und Prävention entwickelt und getestet. Im Ergebnis sollen die richtigen Interventionen/Dienstleistungen für die richtige Bevölkerung/Gruppe/Individuum zur richtigen Zeit zur Umsetzung bereitstehen. Das Projekt startet zum Januar 2023 mit einer Laufzeit von 42 Monaten. The aim of the ‘Invest4Health’ research project is to design incentives for new ways of financing health promotion and disease prevention. In the of the project, models, alternative governance mechanisms and tools/methods, with decision-makers, policy-makers and citizen panels, for the use of Smart Capacitating Investments for health promotion and prevention will be developed and tested. As a result, the right interventions/services for the right population/group/individual should be available for implementation at the right time. The project will start in January 2023 with a duration of 42 months.
