Sie benötigt dringend eine Modernisierung ihrer Arbeitsumgebung, um den stetig wachsenden Anforderungen gerecht zu werden und um ihr Team bestmöglich zu unterstützen. Hier kommt Smart Work Design ins Spiel, das dabei hilft, genau Ursachen zu identifizieren und effektiv zu beheben, sodass ein Arbeitsumfeld die bestmöglichen Voraussetzungen erfüllt, für effizientes Arbeiten und zufriedene Mitarbeitende. Herausforderungen moderner Arbeit Die Evolution der Arbeitswelt bringt zahlreiche Chancen mit sich, doch birgt sie ebenso eine Vielzahl von Herausforderungen. Technische Ausstattung: In einer Zeit, in der Videokonferenzen und digitale Tools zum Standard geworden sind, mangelt es vielen Arbeitsplätzen an der notwendigen technischen Ausstattung. c. Arbeitgeberattraktivität: Die junge Generation von Fachkräften sucht nach Arbeitsumgebungen, die Freiheit, Flexibilität und Wohlbefinden bieten. Überholte Büro- konzepte können potenzielle Talente abschrecken. d. Gesundheit am Arbeitsplatz: Ergonomie, Luftqualität und Beleuchtung spielen eine zentrale Rolle für die Gesundheit und Produktivität der Mitarbeiter. In vielen traditionellen Büros werden diese Aspekte vernachlässigt. She urgently needs to modernize her work environment to meet the ever-increasing demands of the workplace and to support her team in the best possible way. This is where Smart Work Design comes into play, helping to identify the causes of problems and effectively eliminate them so that the working environment offers the best possible conditions for efficient work and satisfied employees. Challenges of Modern Work The evolution of the world of work brings numerous opportunities, but it also presents a multitude of challenges. Companies must recognize and address these challenges in order to be able to hold their own in a digitalized, flexible working environment. The following points outline the key challenges: a. Productive use of space: Many offices are designed according to outdated standards that reflect neither the flexibility nor the dynamics of the modern working world. Space is often wasted or not used optimally. b. Technical equipment: At a time when video conferencing and digital tools have become standard, many workplaces lack the necessary technical equipment. c. Employer attractiveness: The young generation of professionals is looking for working environments that offer freedom, flexibility and well-being. Outdated office concepts can put off potential talent. d. Health in the workplace: Ergonomics, air quality and lighting play a key role in maintaining the health and productivity of employees. In many traditional offices, these aspects are neglected. The Center Smart Commercial Building supported us in the area of New Work. This enabled us to identify and prioritize our employees ’ expectations and requirements on our work infrastructure for flexible workplace booking and take them into account when selecting a solution, which was implemented as a prototype and tested over 6 weeks. The feedback we received after this test phase will help us to further improve the solution and optimally prepare for a roll-out of the workplace booking system.
