myOpen Product Navigator

myOpen Product Navigator was a project funded by the German Federal Ministry of economics and technology as part of the initiative for "transfer of research and design by standardization". The hypothesis to achieve a dynamic and standardized exchange of product master data between online-product-catalogues and ERP-systems especially in the sector of machine and plant manufacture was to increase the manual operations for adminstrating master data. With a dynamic synchronization between these two master data sources new product master data or new variants of an actual product could easily be added in the online-product-catalogue or changed in the ERP-System without having descrepancies in the master data pool.
