In collaboration with BearingPoint GmbH, FIR at RWTH Aachen University has investigated the resilience of business models in the manufacturing industry in relation to the current COVID-19 and previous economic crises. In particular, the importance of services as well as digitalization were considered and a framework was developed to support companies in successfully managing crises.
